Sai Saburi (“the app”) is a personal, non-commercial devotional companion for followers of Shirdi Sai Baba, created and operated by Aakarsh Shard (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the app and the website at saburi.space do and do not handle. Questions? Write to support@saburi.space.
Sai Saburi has no accounts and no logins. It shows no ads and uses no advertising or analytics tracking. Your name and your settings stay on your own device. The only times information leaves your device are when you choose to use “Talk to Sai” (messages go to our AI provider to create a reply) or when you choose to submit the feedback form.
The following is saved in your browser/app storage on your own device and is never sent to us or to anyone else:
You can remove all of this at any time by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling it. Clearing your name (tap the greeting) removes it immediately.
“Talk to Sai” is an AI-assisted space for reflection. It runs inside the app through Chatbase, Inc., a third-party service. When you send a message, that message is transmitted to Chatbase so it can generate a reply. We (Aakarsh Shard) do not receive, read, or store your conversations. Please do not share sensitive personal, financial, or medical information in the chat. Chatbase’s handling of that data is governed by its own privacy policy at chatbase.co. Before your first chat, the app shows a notice and asks you to continue.
If you choose to open and submit the feedback form, the answers you give — and a name, only if you type one — are sent to and stored by Netlify (our website host) through its Forms feature, so that we can read your feedback and improve the app. It is optional. To request deletion of feedback you have sent, email support@saburi.space.
The app links to official and third-party pages — for example live darshan and the Shri Sai Satcharitra on sai.org.in. Those sites are run by others and have their own privacy policies. Sai Saburi is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi.
Sai Saburi is a general-audience devotional app. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Where information does leave your device (Chatbase and Netlify, as above), it may be processed on servers outside your country. We take reasonable care to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above will change when we do.
